Well hello to all of you. Seems like natural disasters may be the only way to encourage you to leave me notes ;) lol! Anywho, about the quake. That was the day mum flew in. We were in Christchurch and she slept through it! I however got to experience the big 2 that it measured on the Richter scale in Christchurch. The quake originated in the Fjord lands and was pretty big in Wanaka (or so I hear from some friends). However now we are in the Fjord lands and everything is well except that the road to Milford Sound is very closed so it looks like that part of the trip may not work out at this point :( But no worries we will still see Doubtful Sound as soon as I can work it out. Anywho, all is well and cheers to people finally leaving more notes on the blog!
